Co-op for VW/Audi Parts and Service –
Co-op funds are allocated in two 6-month periods each year - based on prior year purchases– (if he doesn’t use the co-op allotted in each 6-month period -he loses it!)
This is a 50% co-op reimbursement program; 75% for direct mail.

Get me a signed co-op authorization letter and a piece of the dealer’s letterhead to investigate his co-op accruals. One newspaper found over $6000 per quarter for one of their dealers for his parts and service co-op – about $25,000 for the year!!! They found over $30,000 in co-op for the automobile co-op – it’s a 100% rolling 6 month program.

Saab

Saab is very proud of its heritage and the fact that the overall brand was developed as an offshoot of the airline industry--giving rise to its "Born From Jets" tagline. 2007 is the 60th anniversary of the birth of the Saab line of motorcars, and the brand will be featuring this fact throughout the year. Use the GM co-op program to share the cost of local Saab advertising.
Saab has created special anniversary editions of 9-3 and 9-5 models and is offering each with special lease and purchase agreements. Each special anniversary vehicle is outfitted with special colors, leather interior and other luxury appointments. Each is a special order.
Saab products are now covered by the same co-op program as other General Motors products. Co-op funds are based on a percentage and not the previous $250 per vehicle allowance. Only ad materials provided by Saab qualify for co-op reimbursement. Prior approval is required for all co-op advertising.

Toyota Parts & Service – 50% co-op reimbursement program
3% of the dealer’s general parts purchases for the corresponding half of the previous year - or fixed – a dealer’s co-op fund will never be less than $2000 a year.
